DESCRIPTION:\nLiz Chambers has a passion for what she does!  That's why she's been raising funds for nonprofit organizations for more than 40 years, the last 17 of them here in the Coachella Valley.  She finds joy in helping donors with their estate plans, especially when a Charitable Gift Annuity is their choice of legacy gift.  Over the years Liz has written 10 annuity contracts for donors, most recently one directly from the donor's IRA to the Charitable Gift Annuity.  \n \nProfessionally she is currently a member of the Leadership Institute of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, and its Southern California Inland Empire Chapter.  For years Liz was a member of the Desert Estate Planning Council, and the Desert Communities Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, being honored as its Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the year in 2020.  Liz was also the Founding President of the San Joaquin Valley Planned Giving Council where for many years she conducted a day-long planned giving workshop.  \n \nHere in the desert, she served as Planned Giving Director at the Palm Springs Art Museum from 2006 to 2011.  Then in 2018, she joined the staff of the College of the Desert Foundation as a Charitable Gift Planner, where she currently directs its Legacy Leaders program.  \n \n \n \nMust RSVP by Sept. 7th!\n
