Military Estate Planning Unique Concerns and Litigation Risks
Anne J. Kane, Esq.
Ms. Kane is a partner at Cosgrove, Humphrey, & Weisman, where she has been practicing since 2018. Her focus there is trust and estate litigation, as well as complex administrations. She enjoys resolving family disputes and building multigeneration relationships with clients. She attended undergraduate college at Randolph College and attended law school in San Francisco at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, now University of California – San Francisco College of the Law. While attending law school, Ms. Kane externed at the Probate Division of the California Superior Court in San Francisco and has practice in the field ever since. She lives in the Desert with her husband and two small children. Ms. Kane and her husband are proud to be a part of the U.S. Marine Corps community (Active Reserve). Ms. Kane volunteers her time training military staff judge advocates on estate planning and California estate law.
